DHL and John Deere

Industrial development projects are typically characterized by extremely tight schedules. Time frame from signature of lease agreement to date of occupation for the John Deere and DHL Global Forwarding warehouses in Plumbago Business Park and DB Schenker warehouse in Plumbago Logistics Park were all less than one year. The combined floor area for the three facilities is approximately 90 000m2.

VIP was responsible for the bulk earthworks and the civil engineering infrastructure for the projects. In all three projects the first sod was turned within two weeks of the date of VIP’s appointment. Occupation of the completed facilities were given within 11 months.
